I joined WSL in 2018 as the Executive Director. I graduated from Concordia University in 2015 with my Bachelor’s in HR Management with a minor in Health Care Management. I have extensive experience in Assisted Living and Healthcare with over twenty-years of experience in the industry. In my role as Executive Director, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the community to ensure each resident is cared for with respect and dignity. My passion has always been with the senior population to enhance their wellbeing. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my sons and family.
I have been a part of WSL’s Activity Department since 2012. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and enjoy working with the senior population, bringing the fun and sense of community to this next stage of their lives. I am on the board of our local activity professional’s organization, TCAP, where we provide support and resources to Activity Directors at a local level, also hosting the yearly Senior Olympics. I stay up to date with current activity trends as a member of the statewide organization, WRAP, and attend the yearly conference. I am also certified, through the Alzheimer’s Association, as a Memories in the Making facilitator. Here at WSL, I plan and oversee all activities and activity staff, ensuring that we are bringing the best of what we have to our residents each and every day! I love finding new and creative ways to provide for the recreational and social needs of our residents. I also oversee the wonderful volunteers that visit WSL and see that their volunteering experience is an enjoyable one! Outside of work, my husband of 20 years and I are raising 3 energetic and hilarious kids who keep us on our toes! We love the Waterford community and I am proud to be a part of Waterford Senior Living!
I have joined the WSL team March 2021. I graduated from Gateway Technical College with my LPN in 2010. I am currently enrolled to complete my RN in the Fall. I have worked directly with patients and residents in a variety of different settings—skilled nursing, hospital, clinics, etc., but my heart always leads me back to Long term Care. I feel an overwhelming responsibility to advocate for the aging population and believe it was my calling and a pleasure to help insure each and every resident receives the most adequate care possible. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 2 daughters and 2 Wire haired pointer dogs. In my spare time you may find me running down the wonderful Waterford streets and bike paths, walking along side my husband while he pheasant hunts with the dogs, or taking my girls to and from all their various activities.
I became an employee at WSL in 2018 as a CNA and care staff scheduler. I was promoted to Wellness Assistant at the end of 2018. I have been a CNA for 12 years and have enjoyed working with residents of all types. I have taken some nursing classes and plan to start the RN program again in 2021. As the Wellness Assistant I assist with medication changes, communication with Doctors, care plan changes, and many other resident nursing needs that arise. My passion has always been to care for people and help wherever I can. I have been known for having a big and caring heart. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my son and family. I also enjoy going on adventures and visiting new places.
I joined WSL in the fall of 2020 as the Dietary Manager. I have over five years of restaurant experience, as well as ten years in management and leadership positions. In my role as the Dietary Manager my goal is to ensure all residents have healthy meals and I give them all my best every day to put a smile on each and every one of their faces. My passion has always been people and making a positive impact in their lives. In my free time I spend time with my kids, family, and coach football and basketball.
After seeing the attractive communities and meeting the Executive Directors at Beloit, Milton, and Waterford Senior Living, there was no question about my desire to be a part of this team. I bring extensive experience with working in senior services and hope to be a great resource to family members and potential residents as they navigate the challenging decisions associated with aging. I am pleased to be a part of an organization that operates with strong ethics. Your Quality of Life Is Our Commitment is more than a phrase. It is the way that we live our mission. I have 3 “adult” children, 2 of who live at home. I have been married for 29 years, and found that being home with a Retired Fireman though enjoyable, was not something I was ready to do full time.
I joined the WSL team in 2021. I have many years of experience working with the senior population. I have worked in many different roles and finally to a Human Resources Generalist. I have enjoyed every job in assisted living and memory care. I love talking with the residents to hear their life stories and working with all staff. My goal is to make sure we have the best staff to care and give outstanding customer service for your loved ones. My spare time keeps me busy spending time with my husband, 3 kids and my granddaughter.
